We’re one week into works on Jancarza and Bohomolca streets. Here’s what has been completed so far and what lies ahead:
🔹 Section from the traction substation (Marchołta St. – Kurzei St.)
Work is underway on constructing the aggregate subbase along the outer lane of the roadway. Bituminous (asphalt) works are scheduled to begin next week.
🔹 Jancarza St. (from the intersection with Kurzei St. to Parnickiego St.)
Currently, we are strengthening the ground and constructing an aggregate subbase on half of the roadway width.
In the coming weeks, we will start paving works (installing curbs), followed by bituminous works.
🔹 Traffic organization
Once the new bituminous layers are completed, alternating (single-lane) bus traffic will be shifted onto the new surface. This will allow work to begin on the other half of the roadway.
