Starting from the morning hours on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, a new traffic organization will be introduced on Mogilska Street, in the area of its intersection with Lema Street, as well as on Meissnera Street.
On Mogilska Street, the southern road will be closed, and vehicle traffic will be redirected to the northern road. The entrance to Lema Street will also be closed (except for residents and public transport buses, which will be allowed to pass).
On the section of Meissnera Street between Mogilska Street and Chałupnika Street, traffic will be shifted to the western road.
We apologize for the inconvenience and kindly ask you to drive carefully.
Dear Residents, We kindly inform you that, for pedestrian safety, the sidewalk on Mogilska Street next to the NOHO apartment construction site has been closed. We recommend using the opposite side of the street. Please pay attention to the signs indicating no passage and follow the designated alternative pedestrian and bicycle routes.
We kindly ask residents that, if you notice anyone removing the signage, please report it immediately to the nearest staff member or at the information point. You can contact the information point by phone at 722 22 00 88, by email at info@tramwajdomistrzejowic.pl, or in person at the office located at Barei Roundabout.
Work is underway on the fourth stage of the Krakow Fast Tram project. The new line will connect Mistrzejowice with the intersection of Mogilska, Lema, Meissner streets, and John Paul II Avenue, improving transport in the northeastern part of the city.
This is the first large-scale transport investment in Poland implemented in the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. Part of the route will run through a tunnel, with the deepest point being the two-level Rondo Polsad station.
The presented visualizations are the result of close cooperation with the City and residents. Regular Construction Councils, held every two weeks, allowed for ongoing improvements, which we can present today.
We encourage you to view the visualizations and follow the progress of the project!
Works on the tram terminus in Mistrzejowice are entering the next stage. On Tuesday, August 20, the assembly of prefabricated track slabs will begin.
The use of ERS technology, i.e. a system of fastening the rail in the lagging, will allow for the creation of a durable track surface. This solution ensures the reduction of vibrations and noise generated by passing trams, which will ensure the comfort of life of the inhabitants of the surrounding areas. This is one of the ways to build modern tracks – we will inform you about others as the work progresses.
Safety is a priority.
Due to numerous unexploded ordnance found at the construction site of the tram terminus in Mistrzejowice, sapper teams are still watching over the work. During earthworks, specialists inspect each layer of soil during excavation. For the sake of the safety of residents and construction workers, this process must be carried out as accurately as possible. Therefore, although this has an impact on the pace of implementation, such strict safety measures are crucial for the successful completion of the investment.
From last week
During the progress of works as part of the KST IV Tram to Mistrzejowice investment, the old transformer station disappeared from the landscape of Dobrego Pasterza Street last week. And during the long weekend, the residents of 4-6 Meissnera Street could already enjoy the partially commissioned parking lot. Work in this area will soon be completed in its entirety. Residents of 4-6 Meissnera Street can still use the available parking lot on Pilotów Street.
We invite everyone to a unique event – Lemonade for residents – this year in exchange for pet food!
From 20 to 26 August, during the opening hours of the Tram Information Point to Mistrzejowice (Monday 10:00-18:00 and Tuesday-Friday 9:00-17:00), we will prepare a refreshing lemonade for you. In exchange for high-quality pet food, you can receive a cup of delicious lemonade. This is the perfect opportunity to drink something good on summer days and support homeless animals at the same time.
Along with the shelter for homeless animals, please bring high-quality wet food for cats and kittens. Together, let’s make sure that the shelter shelves are constantly full of supplies. For those who do not have the opportunity to buy pet food, we have also prepared a donation box.
Join us and let’s show that together we can do something good! It will also be a great opportunity to ask questions about the investment!

Yesterday evening, on August 12, after the completion of our works near the Młyńskie Roundabout, the water supply system intended for reconstruction unsealed automatically. The repair of the failure was completed on the night of August 13, at 2:45 a.m. access to water was restored to the residents.
The failure occurred in the vicinity of our works, but formally on the construction site. Therefore, we immediately started to remove the failure together with the services of the Krakow Waterworks. The leakage was not caused by construction works carried out as part of the investment.
Due to the work on the retaining wall, we would like to inform you about the upcoming difficulties. From Monday, August 12, the pavement at Meissnera Street will be closed.
From next Monday, August 12, the pavement on the eastern side of Meissnera Street will be closed – on the section between Fiołkowa and Pszona Streets.
A bypass on the other side of the road has been designated. The works will take about 2 weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience.
According to statistics, July is the rainiest month of the year. Despite heavy rainfall, our work progressed continuously. What has been achieved and what awaits us in the near future?
July was mainly marked by works related to the reconstruction of broadly understood networks. At the beginning of the month, we started heating up the heating pipes near the Wieczysta Sports Club. This involved the continuous operation of the generator. This was required by technological processes to ensure the highest possible quality of workmanship and safety of operation.
Works related to the heat pipeline were also undertaken at Łąkowa Street, Janickiego Street and the western part of Meissnera Street. Although the works in this area were planned for a later date, we decided to start them now to complete the works related to the heating network before the heating season. The decision was made out of concern for the comfort of the residents.More
At the same time, the reconstruction of the power grid at Dobrego Pasterza Street began and the rainwater drainage system at Jancarza Street was reconnected.More
On July 25, a meeting was held as part of the social dialogue, where residents, city and district councillors as well as ZDMK, MIR, ZTP together with the Private Partner could undertake a substantive discussion, m.in. on the fire exit, located in the area of blocks of flats at 4-6 Meissnera Street. A request was made to liquidate the bus bay on Mogilska Street and widen the tram platform. A postulate was made to change the lane into parking spaces on Meissnera Street on the section from Łąkowa Street to Ugorek Street.
Thanks to the commitment of all parties, we strive to create optimal solutions together!More
However – in the context of the progress of construction works – the greatest success of this month was the completion of concreting of ceilings at the Polsadu Roundabout station and under the flyover on the southern side – from Młyńska Street. This is another complicated technical challenge during the construction of the tram line to Mistrzejowice. Due to the limited space for construction machinery, the work required a very high degree of precision. In addition to engineers, the safety of the facility was supervised by a special geodetic monitoring system. It is a set of several dozen measuring devices that checked the condition of the object with an accuracy of 0.1 mm for 24 hours, in real time. At the same time, due to the summer heat, most of the concrete works, which lasted more than 5 hours, took place at night.
To the north of the flyover, insulation works of the floor slab are underway, which will enable the restoration of the original roadway layout and the commencement of the sinking of diaphragm walls in the place of the temporary roadway and pedestrian crossing. This will make it possible to connect the existing tunnel sections. The methodology of staging works is crucial in dense urban development, allowing for efficient project implementation and minimizing nuisance to residents.
July brought significant progress in the work on the city’s infrastructure. Significant works were completed on the reconstruction of the heating and power network, as well as the concreting of the ceilings on the southern side of the Polsadu Roundabout station, which was a key stage in the construction of the tram line to Mistrzejowice. Cooperation with residents and various institutions allows for continuous adaptation of plans to the needs of the community, while maintaining high quality and safety of the implemented projects.
We would like to inform you about the upcoming difficulties related to the reconstruction of power grids this Thursday and Friday.
On August 1, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., the works will be carried out in the area of the bus stop on Dobrego Pasterza Street in the area of the Barei roundabout. On the side of Dobrego Pasterza Street from the side of Lublańska Street, the pavement will be moved outside the works zone (zone A). Access to the bus stop (zone B) will take place through a separate and marked part of the bus bay.
On August 2, a section of Promienistych Street located at the intersection with Lublańska Street will be closed to traffic. The works will be carried out from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and during this time the exit to Lublańska Street will be unavailable in this area.
