Another week of intensive work behind us!

We have completed two more major changes that will make it easier for residents to move around the area. What has happened on the construction site in recent days?

Today we opened Młyńska Boczna Street. We carried out bituminous works there — only the final wearing course remains to be laid, which is planned for June.

We are continuing road works in the southern part of the project. Today we are laying the wearing course on the eastern carriageway of Meissnera Street, from Aleja Jana Pawła II to Rondo Młyńskie. We expect that already this evening (around 8:00 PM), car traffic will be allowed on both carriageways of Meissnera Street (one lane per direction).

We are also preparing the bicycle path on the eastern side of Meissnera Street. It is already ready on the section from Rondo Młyńskie to Ugorek Street, while work continues on the remaining part. Unfortunately, recent unfavorable weather conditions prevented asphalt works, delaying the opening of the bicycle path in this area. We are working to make it available in the coming days!

Work continues in other areas as well. This week we completed track installation along the entire Meissnera section. Our electrical teams are working on activating additional sections of the final street lighting. On Meissnera Street, lighting works are nearing completion. Installation of controllers, poles and traffic signals is also underway in the southern part of the project, including Meissnera Street, Aleja Jana Pawła II and Mogilska Street.

Finishing works are ongoing in the tunnel. Wall and floor cladding is being installed, along with jet fans for ventilation.

Thank you for your patience, and stay tuned for the latest updates from the construction site!
